We’ve redesigned Ez Texting from the ground up. The platform is faster and the interface is more efficient. We’ve simplified features like Send-From-Phone and added new features like uploading spreadsheets of contacts.

We’ve made a lot of changes that will improve the way you use your account on a day-to-day basis.

Sending a Text Message:

• Your Username is no longer automatically inserted at the beginning of your messages. Instead, you have the option of adding your Username into your message as you’re typing.
• Our upgraded Personalization feature now allows you to insert a first or last name anywhere in your text. If there is no name associated with a number, we just add a space in the message.

Groups and Contacts:

• Now when you view the contacts in a group, you only see the numbers in your group! If you want to add more numbers to a group, you can do so on the Contacts page.
• When viewing contacts in a group, you will now see two columns called Source and Added. Source shows you how the number came to get in that group: Upload, Incoming (includes Keywords), or Widget. Added tells you the date the contact subscribed.
• We’ve made uploading contacts even easier by allowing you to upload CSV files of up to 10,000 numbers.
• Mass unsubscribe has now moved to the bottom of the Contacts page.

Navigation:

• You can now easily access your billing history by clicking the links on the bottom-left of your screen (Billing Info, Change My Plan, View My Invoices).
• Edit Profile has moved to the top-right of your screen, and is now called My Profile.
• Scheduled and Sent Texts have been consolidated to a single page.
• Forwarding, API and Send-From-Phone have moved to an expandable Advanced Features button. As we add more features, they will go in this section.

Keywords:

• You can now setup double opt-in rules for your Keywords. Next time you edit a Keyword, you will see the option to Enable Double Opt-In. How it works: A user texts in your Keyword and receives message #1. They must reply Y to complete the opt-in, after which they will be subscribed and receive confirmation message #2.

Miscellaneous:

• For those who are using our popup widget we’ve updated the graphic to a much cleaner image.
• Past invoices will not show on your account; however, these are available upon request should you need to access them.

You’ll probably notice dozens of other little changes as you browse though the website – every change has been implemented to make your Ez Texting experience as useful and efficient as possible.
